Our History
360 Pastor draws on several streams. In 2023, Paul Feiler, from Texas, contacted his friend, David Clark, from Minnesota, with an idea. Paul wanted to be friends with pastors and to help their churches become more missional. Out of this conversation, Paul and David formed Damascus Road Collaborative to design and implement a strategy of teaching seminars and individual coaching. They recruited three more friends to help, and together they launched the ministry with a cohort of 44 churches primarily in Minnesota and Iowa.
After this first cohort completed the experience, Paul and David both judged the strategy a great success. Many pastors urged them to expand the work. So Paul decided to continue the ministry in Texas, keeping the name Damascus Road. David continued essentially the same service while taking the name 360 Pastor. Both organizations continue this vital work today. Both are fully endorsed as 501(c)3 non-profits.
The secret sauce of the strategy is the integral combination of leadership teaching with personal coaching for application. The core leadership teaching is grounded in biblical wisdom, validated by leadership research, and shaped by ministry experience. 360 Pastor today is deeply indebted to Paul’s original vision for serving pastors and has benefitted from the experience of Damascus Road.
In 2025, 360 Pastor formed a strategic partnership with the Eagle Brook Association, a like-minded ministry dedicated to training pastors. EBA has served pastors for 20 years. Building on all this experience, the EBA / 360 Pastor partnership has developed a seamless experience of seminar learning for teams and one-on-one coaching for pastors.
The friends who started 360 Pastor share a deep commitment to God, passion for the Gospel, enthusiasm for local churches, and love for their pastors. They offer this ministry on a complementary basis to be sure nothing keeps churches from missional effectiveness. The shared passion of all these ministries—to help local churches fulfill God’s mission by equipping their leaders—lives on with the EBA / 360 Pastor partnership.
