Leadership Coaching
What’s our stance:
A seasoned coach will develop a personal relationship with you, care for you, and pray with you.
Your coach will walk you through several assessments to identify best path forward.
Your coach will accept that your church is unique and operates in a specific cultural context and historical moment.
Your coach will acknowledge the unique set of opportunities and challenges you face.
Together you will engage in deep conversation about how to apply leadership principles to your church.
WHAT YOU WILL NOT GET: Judgment.
WHAT YOU WILL GET: The secret sauce of the 360Pastor experience …
Personalized coaching for application.
How the coaching works:
We assign one of our 360 Pastor coaches specifically to you for the entire engagement.
Your coach will reach out to you to set up a Zoom call every other week (schedule is flexible).
We’ll sign an Agreement on Mutual Expectations to clarify our relationship.
You’ll do a “Current State” or “SWOT Analysis” evaluation of your church so you and your coach come to a shared understanding of your situation.
You’ll decide together which issues to address, which topics from the teaching to explore (often beginning with Vision Culture), and how to start implementing.
After Seminar II, you’ll do some “Personal Readiness” evaluation to deepen your personal preparation.
At all points, you guide the discussion around the essential concepts and practices that are most relevant to you, in your church, at this time.
We like to say the coaching experience is like an individualized graduate degree: there’s one learner—you; one mentor—your coach; one curriculum—whatever you need to do next!
“In our coaching, we work together to take from the leadership principles presented in the seminars exactly the points you need to move your church forward.
“To use a building analogy, the seminars present a systematic approach for building a church’s foundation, floor, walls, and roof.
“Then, with your coach, you determine whether the foundation is solid. If it’s cracked, you start there. If it’s sound, you move on.
“Our purpose isn’t to judge. It’s to figure out what’s true and then to improve.
“Because ‘Reality is our friend,’ and we operate by the ‘WIN’ Principle: ‘What’s Important Now?’”
David Clark, 360 Pastor Founder
Our coaches are vetted:
The most important thing: every 360Pastor coach is an experienced, effective leader.
Selection is rigorous—every coach is vetted and approved by both EBA and 360 Pastor staff.
Every coach has gone beyond textbook learning. We don’t invite coaches who just filled a position somewhere. Each has faced disappointment, and each has produced real world results.
Our coaches are trained in coaching. Our coaches work together both to grow our skills and to share insights on how to respond to difficult situations.
We attempt to pair you with a coach who has experience similar to yours. Are you in a small-town? Or a very large church? No guarantees, but we aim to match you with a coach with experience in a context like yours.
Coaching during the program is 100% complimentary for you. If you want to continue with your coach after the program ends, we invite you to do so for a small fee.
