Training Seminars
How the Trainings work:
Two-Day Trainings
360 Pastor Coaching builds on three in-person seminars. The Eagle Brook Association delivers the first training. 360 Pastor presents the second and third.
The trainings address essential concepts (mindsets) and actions (habits) for effective leadership. These must become embedded permanently in your culture. The trainings teach a process to build permanent patterns of spiritual leadership into your church’s DNA.
All three seminars are free. You are responsible for travel, lodging, and food (including lunches) as necessary.
Your first step is for you and your team to attend an EBA training.
Training Schedule
EBA offers its trainings around the country at various times of the year.
Once you begin, we will work with you for approximately 20 months:
Seminar 1 — EBA Training
Coaching — bi-weekly Zoom calls (5-6 months)
Seminar 2 — 360 Pastor Training
Coaching — bi-weekly Zoom call (5-6 months)
Seminar 3 — 360 Pastor Training
Coaching — bi-weekly Zoom call (5-6 months)
Alumni are welcome to return to trainings for a “tune up.”
Training Purpose
Our interactive training experiences present principles for leading well. The principles are rooted in the Bible, research, and experience. They will work!
We invite you to bring key leaders, up to eight people, including elders, staff, and key volunteers. Most important? Your Board Chair and Executive or Associate Pastor, if you have one. Whoever you bring will help you implement change.
Trainings are designed to teach principles. In these engaging sessions, you will learn the principles. Together, you’ll build shared definitions, values, and principles, thus getting your leadership community on the same page.
You won’t have time to apply the principles to your church during the trainings. This is where coaching comes in. Your coach will help you figure out how to implement what you’ve learned in your unique context.

How our Training Seminars can make the difference.
Expand your relevance.
Education for ministry preparation typically focuses on the classical disciplines: Bible, theology, and history, along with “practical theology,” like preaching, counseling, and management. They’re important. But this approach assumes a “Christianized” culture. America is decidedly post-Christian. Leaders today need expanded mindsets and habits. You’ll learn how to lead a missional enterprise in a culture that is hostile to Christ.
Enhance your skills.
Classical approaches to preparing for ministry emphasize cognitive skills. These are not unimportant. But at best, they’re only a part of what effective leaders need. Leadership is influence, so leaders must learn how to inspire others to live their lives well and to contribute to mission. Classical education is to leadership practice as reading about tennis is to playing tennis with a coach. Our trainings will teach you skills you can put into practice.
Build your confidence.
Traditional teaching strategies provide a lot of theory, which explains what people should do. But they’re weak on demonstrating practice, which shows why and how people can do it. Our seminars include theory, but tilt toward practice. In addition, coaching for life transformation and organizational growth further catalyzes action. When you see your church start to evolve into a missional enterprise, your confidence will grow.
