Teaching Seminars
How the Seminars work:
Two-Day Seminars
All we do builds on three in-person seminars. Eagle Brook Association presents the first, and 360 Pastor delivers the second and third.
The teaching addresses essential concepts (mindsets) and actions (habits) for effective leadership. These must become embedded permanently in your actions and in your culture. The seminars present a process to build permanent patterns of spiritual leadership into your church DNA.
All three seminars are complimentary for you. You are responsible for travel, lodging, and food (including lunches) as necessary.
Your first step is for you and your team to attend an EBA seminar.
Seminar Schedule
EBA offers its seminars around the country at various times of the year. See the schedule at: eaglebrookassociation.com
Once you begin, we will work with you for approximately 20-22 months:
Seminar 1 — EBA Seminar
Coaching — bi-weekly Zoom calls (5-6 months)
Seminar 2 — 360 Pastor Seminar
Coaching — bi-weekly Zoom calls (5-6 months)
Seminar 3 — 360 Pastor Seminar
Coaching — bi-weekly Zoom calls (5-6 months)
Seminar Purpose
Our interactive learning experiences present principles for leading well. The principles are rooted in the Bible, research, and experience. They will work!
Seminars are designed to teach principles. You and your team gain shared definitions, values, and principles. This will enable you and your leaders to gain alignment.
We don’t want you to imitate the specifics of another church. This is not about turning you into Eagle Brook. The goal is to help you to apply the principles you learn in your context.
But you won’t have time, during the trainings, to apply the principles to your church. This is why we add coaching. You and your coach will help you figure out how to implement what you’ve learned in your unique context.
We invite you to bring up to eight key leaders, including elders, staff, and key volunteers. Most important? Your Board Chair and an Executive or Associate Pastor, if possible. The people you bring will work with you to implement change.

How our Teaching Seminars can make a difference.
Expand your relevance.
In preparing for ministry, we learn Bible, theology, history, and “practical theology” (preaching, counseling, and management). These are important. In our post-Christian culture, however, we can’t assume people will just show up to engage with Christian teaching. Leaders today need missional mindsets and habits. Churches need to go out to where pre-believers and show how Christian truth is relevant in a hostile culture .
Enhance your skills.
Truly connecting people with the Gospel is an matter of personal influence. This calls for more than cognitive skills. Missional leaders must learn to connect with people. They must inspire and equip others to live their lives well. This calls for authenticity and personal engagement. We want you to tap into your authentic person, and then learn skills you can put into practice. How you connect and what you do is what makes the difference.
Build your confidence.
Teaching strategies that focus on the informational may provide theory to explain what people should do. But this isn’t the same as inspiring new behavior. That’s what’s required for transformation. Our seminars tilt toward the practical. In addition, coaching for life transformation and organizational growth catalyzes action. When you see your church start to evolve into a missional enterprise, you will grow in your confidence to lead well.
